Here are some handy bookmarklets I've created for eBay that will save you some time. Bookmarklets are like regular bookmarks in your web browser except they do something useful when you click on them (read more about bookmarklets on Wikipedia). For example, let's say you shop on eBay a lot and you always buy from the same 3 sellers (John, Mary, and Sue). Every day you check back on eBay to see if John, Mary, or Sue have any new items for sale. In this case most people would just create 3 seperate bookmarks in their web browser, one for John's page, one for Mary's page, and one for Sue's page. But what if there was a way to combine those three bookmarks into one? Well, with a bookmarklet, you can! When you click on the bookmarklet it would ask you which seller's items you want to see, then you enter a seller's name and all of their available items would come up. Bookmarklets are kind of like interactive bookmarks. They can can save you time by allowing you to jump to common eBay destinations faster. To use these bookmarklets simply drag each link to the bookmarks toolbar in your web browser or right-click on them and choose "Add to Bookmarks".
This bookmarklet allows you to quickly jump between the items for sale by many different eBay sellers. It prompts you for an eBay username, then it shows you all the items available for sale by that person.
This bookmarklet allows you to quickly jump between the feedback records of different eBay sellers. It first prompts you for an eBay username, then brings you to the feedback profile page of that user.
View Bid History (requires login)
This bookmarklet allows you to quickly see to the bid history of a particular eBay user. Bid history is basically just a record (or log) of what a person has been bidding on. First it prompts you for an eBay username, and then it shows you what that person has been bidding on (on eBay) in the last 30 days.
This bookmarklet allows you to quickly contact an eBay member. It first prompts you for an eBay username, then it brings you to the eBay Contact-A-Member page with that person's username pre-filled in.
This bookmarklet allows you to quickly view the "About Me" page of any user. It first prompts you for an eBay username, then it brings you to the eBay "About Me" page for that user.
This bookmarklet allows you to quickly visit the eBay Store of any eBay user. It first prompts you for an eBay username, then it brings you to the eBay Store of that user.
This bookmarklet allows to quickly add a seller to your eBay "Favorite Sellers" List. It first prompts you for an eBay username, then it adds that user to your list of favorite sellers.
This bookmarklet allows to quickly perform an eBay search. It first prompts you for a search term, then it simply searches eBay for whatever you typed in.
