eBay Australia Fee Calculator Spreadsheet

Fee Calculators, Spreadsheets 2 Comments »

This spreadsheet helps you calculate how much it would cost to sell on eBay Australia. You simply enter the price of your item and you can see what your fees and profit would be in any of eBay's listing formats including Auction/Fixed Price, eBay Stores, Classified Ad, and Vehicles/Real Estate. For advanced users, there is a way for you to reverse calculate your fees to determine what amount to charge for your item (or what to charge for P&H) to receive the amount you want after fees. You can keep a record of your sales using the included Sales Log worksheet or print out a chart showing what your fees would be for common amounts using the included Fees Chart worksheet. You can also reverse calculate price or P&H for a large number of items at once using bonus "Markup" worksheet. If eBay ever changes their fees in the future (or you want to calculate the fees for another service) you can edit all of the fee rates used by the spreadsheet using the included "Edit Fee Rates" worksheet.

Amazon LogoHere's an Amazon Marketplace Fee Calculator I wrote to help people calculate what their fees and profit would be when using Amazon Marketplace. If you've ever bought anything from Amazon.com before you're probably familar with Amazon Marketplace. Amazon Marketplace allows sellers to offer their new and used goods directly alongside Amazon's own offerings. You can easily recognize it by seeing something like this on a product's details page...

In a way, this is similar to eBay's Half.com. Both systems allow you to list your item for an extended period of time without paying any fees until your item sells.

eBay Stores Fee Calculator v2.0 released

Fee Calculators, Web-Based Tools, eBay Tools 7 Comments »

eBay Stores LogoSince a lot of people have been requesting it lately, here's my new eBay Stores Fee Calculator. If you look at the fees page for eBay Stores, you'll notice their fee structure is very different from eBay.com. This is because having an eBay Store requires you to pay a monthly subscription fee and Store listings have an increased duration of 30 days. Store listings also have slightly different visibility on eBay.com, which you can read more about on their FAQ page. Since the fees for eBay Stores are so much different I thought it would be better to make a entirely new calculator just for them rather than adding them as an option into my existing eBay fee calculator.
